By airDepending on your preference there are three ways to travel from the airport1) The easiest way to travel from the airport is by taxi, especially if you have a large amount of luggage.2) There are also direct rail links from the airport to Manchester Piccadilly railway station in the city centre and to Manchester Oxford Road railway station. Manchester Oxford Road railway is then either a short bus ride away from the hotel or a short taxi ride. 3) To travel by bus use the number 43 which departs from the airport bus station and stops at the end of the Moss Lane East, next to Whitworth Park. The bus departs approximately every ten minutes during the day from Monday to Saturday, and approximately every 30 minutes throughout the night and on Sundays. Piccadilly station to Oxford RoadThe Oxford Road Link bus (no 147) runs from Piccadilly Rail Station to the university Oxford Road campus on weekdays between 7.15am and 6.45pm, at 10-minute intervals, and can be caught from the Fairfield Street entrance to Piccadilly Station. We are then a short walk to Moss Lane East.
